The first dog of Christmas: Buddy the labrador

Once again Country Life has teamed up with Dogs Trust to help 12 wonderful dogs find loving new homes. The first dog in the series is labrador Buddy

Rehome a rescue dog this Christmas

Everyone at Country Life is proud to have the opportunity to team up with Dogs Trust for another year in the hope of helping 12 lovely dogs find the happy homes that they deserve.

Of course a dog isn’t just for Christmas, and we all know that it is an enormous commitment to own and take care of a dog. But if you are ready for the challenge, whether you already have dogs or have had them in the past, it can be very rewarding to adopt a rescue dog.

All the dogs at The Dogs Trust are in need of a good, trustworthy, loving home, and each dog will have his own needs, based on his past. So some dogs are very timid and need to grow their confidence, while others can only be placed in adult only families, or be the only dog. But they always do their best to match the right dog to the right family.

The first in our brand new series is Buddy, an eight-year-old labrador who, despite his age, is very active and loves nothing more than a good run around in the garden.

A typical labrador, Buddy very much enjoys his food and will do anything for a tasty biscuit. A great playmate, this dog is easy to please and would make a fantastic pet for some lucky new owners.

Buddy is looking for a patient, laid back family to help him settle into a new home and can be slightly worried when meeting other dogs. Buddy needs an adult-only home where he can be the only dog in the house.

Are you the perfect family for beautiful Buddy? Call Dogs Trust Loughborough on 0300 303 0292 or visit their website www.dogstrust.org.uk to find out more about meeting him, or any of their other lovely dogs.
