The eighth dog of Christmas…Berty

The eighth dog in our Dogs Trust Christmas rehoming series is lively Berty, the terrier cross

We’re hoping to help Berty, a lovely terrier cross at Dogs Trust Basildon and the next in our rehoming series, find a new family this Christmas.

Berty is an enthusiastic boy so is always keen to participate in training sessions and his lively nature has gained him lots of friends at the centre.

Due to his bouncy character, Berty is a very sociable boy with other dogs but he would be better being the only dog in his new home as he can be a bit overwhelming for other dogs to live with.

He has been learning to be calmer around toys and people so would benefit from continued training in this way; he is an intelligent dog with huge potential.

Berty is hoping for an adult-only, rural home where he’ll have company most of the time to begin with.
